Biography
Born August 9, 1994 · College Park, Georgia
Turbo The Great, born Chandler A. Great, is a Grammy-nominated American record producer and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia — widely regarded as one of the most influential producers in modern hip-hop. A self-taught producer and Banneker High School graduate, he has quietly shaped the sound of a generation with his signature tag, “Run dat back, Turbo.”
He is best known for producing Gunna and Lil Baby's “Drip Too Hard,” which was certified Diamond (10× Platinum), and for executive producing Gunna's chart-topping Drip or Drown 2 and DS4Ever, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. His catalog spans genre-defining records for Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Young Thug, Nav, Lil Durk, Drake and more.
Beyond the studio, Turbo founded his production collective The Playmakers and The Great Family Foundation, whose annual Turbo Day back-to-school carnival provides free school supplies, food, and family experiences to youth in metro Atlanta. The City of South Fulton officially proclaimed a “Turbo Day” in his honor.
